We offer primary care services specifically for those with hypermobility or hypermobile syndromes, such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). We are a telehealth (virtual) service, so your care is provided from the comfort of your home and on a secure and private video platform.
We strive to offer a range of beneficial services, including:
We take a whole-person approach for your care and often incorporate evidence-based lifestyle recommendations into your treatment plan. We partner with you. Making many changes at one time can be overwhelming and exhausting, so we try to use a more gradual approach to avoid adding stress to your life.
Hypermobility and EDS are not just about "flexible" bodies!
Often, there are may areas that act up and interfere with living our best functional lives.
We can help manage a variety of symptoms and conditions that occur in those who have hypermobility and/or EDS.
Commonly related conditions include POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome). POTS is a form of dysautonomia causing orthostatic intolerance and MCAS leads to various reactions when mast cells are triggered.
Some of the most common symptoms overall include, but are not limited to:
No. While we gladly accept healthcare provider referrals for our services, a referral is not necessary for you to receive care from us.
Since early childhood hypermobility is common, and often not bothersome, our focus is on adults and adolescents.
We currently treat patients who are physically located in Texas, Florida, Kansas, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Wyoming during the appointment.
Not at this time. We are a telehealth, or virtual, healthcare service only. We are able to properly assess, evaluate, and treat your concerns over secure, HIPAA-compliant video with the Practice Better platform. The platform is accessed through the Patient Portal, which you may sign up for through the email invitation received upon scheduling your first appointment.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA card payments to cover the full service price.
We do not directly bill insurance and are "out of network" with all insurance companies. This allows us the freedom to offer the comprehensive and attentive care required for hypermobile conditions, often with hour-long appointment times. We are happy to help you submit claims for out-of-network provider reimbursement from your insurance company, if applicable.
Insurance benefits vary.
A credit/debit/FSA/HSA card and payment in full is required to schedule.
For your convenience, we are able to help verify your out-of-network benefits. Just ask us! Most, but not all insurance companies will allow for 3rd party verification.
*Due to regulations, we are unable to service any Medicare patients at this time. Medicaid rules for cash-based services vary by state.
Yes, you can. However, we ask for at least a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
